It is an Ice Time for Skating!
November 16th, 2012 by Marcus
It's that time of year again, when Amsterdam transforms itself into a winter wonderland. Starting the season off is the opening of a public ice-skating rink on Leidseplein.

Making the most of the cold!
It's all slippery and fun, but well worth the effort. Don't be dismayed if you, like me, can barely stand up while the locals are twirling around you. Don't worry about the occasional violent outcome of combining gravity with low friction. It's all part of the fun!
The skating is free. If you need to rent skates, bring enough money for the deposit and some form of identification (Passport is best).
The rink will be open until January 8, 2013. The ice/nice puns will continue well into spring.
